These works were made during a period of my life when I was losing and finding home, again and again.

 

I needed to process that time not only emotionally, but physically — with my hands, through material. I used what I found: on the street, at flea markets, in the debris of other people’s discarded homes. I worked with generosity, without saving anything for a tomorrow I could not yet imagine.

 

Each piece carries that excess — of gold, of paint, of material — as a form of survival.
